There are many travelling symbols used in modern society, such as
the World Youth Day Cross, or the Olympic Flame. The Unity Cross
serves as a symbol for the Columbian Squires of Ontario for our
roots in history and our unity with every past and present Squire
throughout the world.
The work of this committee not only involves ensuring the Cross is
maintained and in good condition, but also that it travels regularly
across the province so as to enforce its role and symbolism. The
committee will also work to make sure that each Circle has their own
Cross, a gift from the Provincial Board.
